Welcome to the FLYC Keelboat Program! 

Are you wanting to tap into the local Folsom Lake sailing scene, but don't have a boat?

Looking for an alternative to boat ownership and looking to improve your sailing skills with a great group of people?

Want to build the confidence to be the next person to sail to Hawaii from California?

Then you have come to right place.

• 2026 is the 2nd year of this exciting program

• 5 current members: and growing!

• Limited number of users per boat which gives program members unlimited use of the boat

• Purchased the ‘Sarah B’ in March of 2024

• Boat was taken out 40+ times in 2025

• Acquired our second boat for the keetlboat program. It's a Santana 23 ('Roxy') as of the 2026 sailing season. This raceboat will give participants an extra challenge as it is fully equipped with a spinnaker! 

• Be a FLYC member and current on annual dues ($195 yearly)

•$1200 annual program fee (payable as a lump sum or monthly payments)

• 1 time $250 participation fee (non-refundable)

• Reserve boat through FLYC online calendar

• Become a better sailor
